The Asbury Eagles played this home game under unusual pressure. Two starters, Morgan Flannery and Camryn Preston, could not play due to illness.

Asbury’s head coach, Chad Mayes, was still thrilled with the outcome when, after the game saying, he was “So happy for today’s win. Being down two starters and still picking up the win was a great boost for our team. Everyone stepped up and played hard, even when they were asked to play a different role or out of position. That’s what we need from everyone going forward.”

The Asbury women’s team will travel next Saturday to Simmons College in Louisville, KY, and face off at 1 PM.
