Asbury hosts blood drive
Staff report

According to the Red Cross, someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds, and one donation can save up to three lives. Do you want to save lives or make a difference? Asbury’s Fall Blood Drive is Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stuce.

Things to remember when you donate:

1. Bring a picture ID.
2. If possible, eat a good meal before donating. Snacks will be available before and after you donate.
3. Plan on being at the Student Center for one hour to complete the donation process.
4. After donating, you get a free “Y’ALL” t-shirt.
5. If you want to donate but are not sure if you qualify as a donor, sign up, and the staff from the Kentucky Blood Center will let you know if and when you can donate.

The Asbury Collegian is an Asbury University publication. The paper is staffed entirely by Asbury students who seek to write on topics of interest to the University and the surrounding community.
