What has been your favorite part of Cross Country preseason this year?
My favorite part was definitely meeting all the new freshmen. It’s nice to have new faces and personalities on the team.
What are you looking forward to this season in regards to overcoming an injury from last year?
I’m really looking forward to racing. I’ve never raced an 8K so I’m excited to see what it will be like.
What are you majoring in and what do you aspire to be after graduating?
I’m majoring in Media Communications (Film) and want to work on feature or short films.
What do you think will be your favorite class this semester?
I think Producing is going to be my favorite class. I feel that working with a director and figuring out all the logistics to his/her film is going to be a thrilling experience.
Not only were you on campus early for preseason, but you were here as a TAG leader also. How would you describe that experience?
Being a TAG leader was absolutely amazing and has changed me as a person. I highly recommend applying to any freshman.
What advice do you have for freshmen student-athletes?
Get enough sleep and manage your time wisely.
