1) Who influenced you to play basketball?

I think that the most influential people during the beginning of my basketball career were my coaches. After years of resistance, they finally persuaded me to come try out for the team in the eighth grade. I have been hooked ever since.

2) Who are some teammates you really admire?

Honestly, I don’t think It is possible to just to name a few of my teammates that I admire because they are all such wonderful, well-rounded girls… all different and great in their own way. I think it’s our differences that really allow us to mesh so well as a team.

3) What is a trait that you admire in your coaches?

Our coaches listening ability. I think that one of the most important aspects of being a good coach or teacher is to be able to learn from your students or players…They are really approachable and willing to adjust to us as players.

4) What other hobbies do you have?

I just picked up knitting! It is my new favorite hobby. I also enjoy baking, reading and crafts.

5) Do you have a favorite verse and/or song that motivates you to play?

Uptown Funk is my new favorite Pre-game song!!

However my favorite Bible Verse to remember before I step onto the floor is 2 Timothy 2:1-4

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

6)  What is a fun fact about you?

I’m kind of addicted to Hi-C Flashin’ Fruit Punch juice boxes. I drink them way to often for it to be healthy.
