WHAM held for the final time this semester

For a fourth and final time this semester, Asbury University’s Worship Arts Department is holding “Worship Him At Midnight” (WHAM) today in Hughes Chapel. The event is being held from 10 p.m. to midnight. It invites students from around campus to worship God through music, and gives students an opportunity to receive an additional FLEX Credit that goes towards their chapel attendance total for the semester.

“WHAM means a lot to me,” Joshua Owen, a senior at Asbury University, told the Collegian. “It’s a time to worship God with community and others. It’s a good time to learn more through the speakers, and it’s a good way to get away from the busyness of school and set your eyes on the Lord.”

WHAM differs from most other worship events at Asbury because it is entirely student-led. Student musicians play the worship music and give any spoken message.

All students are invited to attend WHAM tonight in Hughes Auditorium.
