Women’s Basketball Makes School History

Congratulations to the women’s basketball team as they made history in advancing to the NAIA National Championships. After pushing 5th ranked Cardinal-Stritch throughout the game, the Eagles weren’t able to keep up the pressure and a late run from the Wolves gave them the win 50-43. The Eagles’ 26-7 season was their best ever and it saw them earn their first-ever national ranking. Sophomores Brittany Warren and Kali Whiteside started every game this season. Warren lead the Eagle’s scoring (14 points per game/.391 FG pct), Whiteside led the team in rebounds (9rpg) and junior Kylee Gorbee lead in assists (3.3 apg).
