WEEK IN REVIEW

Due to the weather, many teams had their games last week either cancelled or postponed.

BASEBALL

The baseball team hasn’t had a game since their 10-2 loss against Union College on Feb. 10. Weather permitting, they look to take the field against Rochester College today for their home opener at 5 p.m. After six consecutive losses, the Eagles will be looking to right their season against the Warriors, who have yet to play a game this season.

SOFTBALL

The softball team will play at home today at 4 p.m. After opening their season with a doubleheader yesterday against St. Catherine College, the Eagles will have another two games today. Head Coach Samantha DeMartine will look to build off of her team’s success last year that saw them go 19-26 in the regular season and finish as runners-up in the KIAC tournament.

MEN’S LACROSSE

After seeing the women’s team dominating performance in their first ever game, the men’s lacrosse team will be looking to match it when they take on Missouri Baptist University tonight at 7 p.m. in St. Louis. The team will have to recover quickly, as they are scheduled to travel 183 miles to play against Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri on Saturday. Those looking to see the lacrosse team for themselves will have to wait for their home opener on March 5.

WOMEN’S LACRVOSSE

For the women’s team, the hope will be that they are still able to carry the momentum from their first game into tonight’s match against Robert Morris University-Springfield at 5 p.m. After scoring in the double digits against Truett-McConnell College, the competition looks to be much stiffer against an well-established RMU side.
