Student Activities Cabinet will host an Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 from 7 to 8 p.m.
The hunt is one of the many seasonal events that SAC organizes throughout the semester. The hunt itself will take place around campus with SAC members hiding eggs in various locations.
If some students do not want to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt, SAC will also have activities open in the STUCE. Depending on the weather, SAC organizers plan to have other activities outside, such as volleyball nets, 9-square and other popular outdoor games.
“Overall, I think campus just enjoys this event and has in the past,” said SAC point Samantha Bottom. “I think it’s been a huge hit for us, and I think that it’s just fun to celebrate Easter while we’re here. We wanted to have it before students leave for Easter break.”
In addition to the games, outdoor activities and Egg Hunt, SAC will also have snacks and refreshments provided for students.
“We just want to have something that the campus can do to celebrate a wonderful holiday that many students on campus love here at Asbury,” said Bottom. “I think there’s a lot of people that are competitive and Easter is a great way to relive those glory days of hunting for eggs as a child, and it’s just something you can do against all of your friends at college.”
