It is once again time for Kinlaw Library’s Silent Book Club, which provides a space for members of the Asbury community to bring their own books and read together in silence.
“I enjoyed being in [a]community that shares a passion for reading as well as intentionally setting quiet time aside to read something that’s not for classes,” stated Bethany McMullen, a regular attendee of the club. “My experience was lovely,” McMullen continued, “I was greeted with cookies, snacks and the amazing librarians who run the club.”
The event gives students the ability to rest while also being with others. To join the silent book club, visit Kinlaw Library on Wednesday, March 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel Lounge on the second floor.
