Homecoming games are always exciting, and the men’s soccer game against Georgetown College at last Saturday’s homecoming didn’t disappoint. Both teams fought with tenacity, despite the painfully chilly October weather. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime, which did not reflect either team’s scoring efforts, but junior defender Stephen Mitchell quickly put an end to the scoring drought early in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mitchell drove the ball into the net giving Asbury the goal it needed to beat Georgetown 1-0.
