Men’s Soccer (5-8)
The Eagles lost against Georgetown College after a goal came from the Tiger’s JT Stephens. Asbury wasn’t able to capitalize on the pressure they brought in the first half where they put four shots on target. They were on the back foot for most of the second half before Stephens scored in the 87th minute. The Eagles next game is Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
Women’s Soccer (8-5)
Though the score wouldn’t show it, the Eagles’ win over Cincinnati Christian University on Oct. 25 was as one-sided as they come. Asbury got off a ridiculous 33 shots over the course of the game, but only one managed to find the back of the net. Freshman Laura Mills finally managed to put the home side up after 69 minutes. The next game for the Eagles comes on Nov. 4 when they travel to play Berea College.
